GKSSA 'A' Playoff Final: BHFC 3 Fanatics 1
Brass Hammers FC played one of their best games of the season on Sunday in the GKSSA 'A' Playoff Final, defeating defending champs Fanatics 3-1 in convincing fashion in front of a packed house at the Bandbox on Bagot. Chris Gencarelli, Rick Popazzi and Steve Douglas scored for BHFC. The Hammers won all three GKSSA 'A' trophies to complete a dream season in 2008, and celebrations from the legions of BHFC supporters lasted well into the night.
